Know the population
The current JSON contains 1,000 published ranked identities: 846 people, 19 tools and agents, and 135 unresolved identities. This is a bounded subset of 222,270 total ranked identities. The totals describe the complete population; summing the downloaded rows will not reproduce those totals.
Rankings pages show 100 records at a time from the published subset. The homepage shows 25 people. Search may reach additional identities through its index; search results are not a full data export.

tools | Detected tool signatures. Multiple tools can appear on one commit; tool populations overlap. |
coverage.completed_share | Fraction of known repositories scanned. Global coverage is not per-person coverage. |
generated_at | Source snapshot timestamp. It is separate from the deployment time. |
null | Unavailable account or avatar reference. Zero is an observed count and is distinct from a missing reference. |
